Malibu Events Calendar

Join the 5 Gyres Institute, Surfrider Foundation West Los Angeles Malibu Chapter, and Rosenthal Wines for a Topanga State Beach Cleanup on Sunday, August 14th from 9-11am. After the cleanup, head across the street to the Rosenthal Wine Bar & Patio (18741 Pacific Coast Hwy, Malibu, CA 90265) for a celebration from 11am-1pm.

Reusable bags and gloves will be provided, but you’re encouraged to bring you own. Please wear closed-toed shoes, a hat, and sunscreen. Also, please bring a reusable bottle or cup for water. Park for free along the highway, pay parking in the beach lot, or park at Rosenthal and let them know you’re there for the cleanup.

There will be a free raffle and everyone who participates in the cleanup will be entered to win some amazing prizes. The drawing will take place at the celebration after the cleanup. Representatives from 5 Gyres and the Surfrider Foundation will be speaking at the celebration. Volunteers will be onsite to answer questions about the organizations’ work and how you can get involved.
