The Emily Shane Foundation will be releasing 1,000 butterflies as a tribute to those who have made their program a success at Bluffs park on Sunday the 22nd.
As you may know, THE EMILY SHANE FOUNDATION has an ongoing “Butterfly Campaign” where
people can sponsor butterflies ($10 each) to support their SEA (Successful
Educational Achievement) Program. Our goal is to have all 1000 butterflies
that will be released sponsored prior to the “Butterfly Release” on Sunday, November 22
at Bluffs Park at 2 pm. People can sponsor one or more butterflies by clicking on the

Each butterfly counts! All funds raised from the sponsorship of butterflies supports
SEA, which provides intensive and individualized support to middle school students
who risk failure and could not otherwise afford this type of much needed help. This
Program truly makes a difference in the lives of the children we serve.
The entire community is welcome to join us at the event. D’Amores will have their
food truck, and we are finalizing plans for others, as well as live entertainment.
Malibu mayor Laura Rosenthal will be present to help with the butterfly release, as
will others who have been significant to supporting our cause.
It should be fun for all ages!
