Malibu, Calif. –California Wildlife Center (CWC) will be hosting its first ever Feathers, Flippers and Fur Family Picnic on Saturday, June 24th from 11:30am to 3:30am at Malibu Bluffs Park.
You are invited to join the CWC family and share the wonder of wildlife with yours. The event will feature:
- Gourmet Vegetarian Cuisine from Your Favorite Local Eateries
- Wildlife Rescue and Care Presentations by CWC Staff and Volunteers
- Performance by Jimmy H, Comedy Magician
- Storytelling by Julie Tumamait-Stenslie,Chumash Elder and Tribal Chair of the Barbareno/Ventureno
- Demonstrations by the Malibu Monarch Project
- Face Painting and Crafts for Kids
- Bean Bag Toss Tournament for Prizes
- Live Music by Jordan Hook
- Silent Auction with Amazing Packages for the Whole Family
- And Much More!
This is event is one of two that will replace The Wild Brunch, CWC’s former annual fundraiser.
Tickets are $75 for adults, $25 for children, and children age two and under are free. Tickets include lunch and all activities. All proceeds go towards animal programs at California Wildlife Center.

California Wildlife Center takes responsibility for the protection of native wildlife through rehabilitation, education, and conservation.
