Plein air paint-outs are a great way to meet other artists and discover new sites for inspiration. All plein air artists and art enthusiasts are welcome to participate, no membership required or fee. Bring your own art supplies, water, lunch, sunscreen and repellent, hat and walking shoes. See our website allied-artists.com for upcoming paint outs.
Sycamore Cove Beach is on the very western edge of the Santa Monica Mountains.This sandy south west facing beach has crashing surf on rock outcroppings at south and north ends. Santa Monica Mountains range across PCH. Painting demonstration at 9AM by oil painter George Scribner. A positive group critique at 12 noon. 32 miles west of Malibu Civic Center. Facilities.
