The site of our past one-day yoga retreats, Malibu Nature Preserve offers a refreshing landscape view of the Pacific Ocean, just across Pacific Coast Highway. Enjoy ample free parking on site and leave your yoga mats in the car for the 2.3-mile moderate-intensity hike led by Peter Ireland, MNP Trustee.  Then, join us on the grass by the Sycamore trees for a 60-minute Yoga Flow/Deep Stretch for All Levels with Michelle Chua of Root 2 Rise Yoga to begin your new week with a radiant inner calm. After, let’s celebrate with 6 years in community with Root 2 Rise Yoga with a vegetarian potluck and swimming at the Nature Preserve pool!  Join us for a fun summer fiesta afternoon!

Your suggested donation of $20 will offer energy exchange for the yoga class and guided hike, and 50% of all donations will be utilized by the Nature Trust (non-profit organization) to maintain the 100-acre Malibu Nature Preserve and will cover costs of swimming pool and kitchen area maintenance for our event.

Please wear hiking shoes or sneakers for a moderate hike on trails with uphill climb. Pants, sunblock and natural insect repellent are recommended. Make sure to bring your swim wear, towel and a vegetarian dish to share!  There are restrooms on site. Here’s the address:

*Please leave sufficient time to find the location & to check in. Gates to these private grounds will close by 10:00am for the duration of the event. Guests may exit at anytime.  It’s near the Malibu Tennis & Riding Club, 7 miles north of Kanan Road on PCH and south of Leo Carillo State Park. Note: Cell phone service may be limited in the area, so please secure directions prior to travel.
