The 9th Annual Malibu Half Marathon & 5K Run / Walk returns November 5th, 2017 with a spectacular beachside course. Get ready to soak up spectacular views of waves crashing on the shoreline, surfers and sunbathers in the water, and hundreds of inspired runners on the road. This is how you run beautiful.

This event is a rare opportunity to run the storied Pacific Coast Highway and experience Malibu.

COURSE DETAILS:

The Half Marathon starts and ends in famous Zuma Beach, Malibu offering participants a beautiful out-and-back route along the pristine Malibu coastline. From the starting line, the course proceeds on Westwards Beach Rd and then turns left on Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) passing Zuma Beach, one of the most distinctive landmarks on PCH and a cinematic backdrop for numerous films and TV commercials. After making the turnaround, just north of San Nicolas Canyon, runners head back down the coast to the finish line.The 5K offers the same incredibly scenic beachside course as the half marathon — only in a shorter, more manageable distance for the casual runner or walker. With no significant hills, this course is perfect for anyone looking to attempt a personal record — or just looking for a gorgeous, well-organized event.
