Categories
Celebrating the talent of young filmmakers, the Malibu Teen Film Festival will screen movies made by students in middle school and high school. The Malibu Teen Film Festival screening will take place on Friday, April 29, 2016. The event is hosted by the Malibu Youth Commission.
Free Film Workshops
Workshops are led by professional filmmakers who teach students introductory and advanced skills on filmmaking. RSVP is required by filling out the online Teen Film Festival Workshop form. All workshops will take place at Malibu City Hall.
- Saturday, February 27, 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM: Direct actors, shoot a scene, and learn about cinematography
- Saturday, March 5, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM: Create a video photo booth with Frame Thief animation software
Submissions
To be considered, filmmakers must:
- Adhere to the Malibu Teen Film Festival Guidelines
- Sign an entry form or submit the online form
- Submit work by the deadline: Friday, March 4
