Plein-air paint-outs are great way to meet other artists and discover new sites for inspiration. All plein-air artists and art enthusiasts are welcome to participate, no membership required or fee. Bring your own art supplies, water, lunch, sunscreen and repellent, hat and walking shoes.   This historic property built by razor baron King Gillette  in 1926  was also owned by famous Hollywood movie director Clarence Brown. The eucalyptus-lined allee opens to mountain vistas, oak groves, cherry orchards and a Mediterranean estate and pond designed by  famed archetiect Walter Neff. This 588-acre park provides unlimited opportunities for new paintings and a beautiful setting. We will meet at the Visitor Center courtyard at 9 am. Painting demonstration at 9:00 a.m., the artist will be Pastelist Bruce Trentham. There will be a positive group critique at 12 noon. Cost: FREE.
