Join Shrek, our unlikely hero, and his loyal steed, Donkey, as they embark on a quest to rescue the beautiful (if slightly temperamental) Princess Fiona from a fire breathing, love-sick dragon. Add the diminutive Lord Farquaad, a gang of fairytale misfits, and a biscuit with attitude, and you’ve got the biggest, brightest musical comedy around! The Malibu Middle School production of Shrek, The Musical has performances on Feb. 9 (7 p.m.), Feb. 10 (7 p.m.), Feb. 11 (7 p.m.), and Feb. 12 (2 p.m.). Tickets are $15 for students and seniors and $25 for adults, and they can be purchased at http://mhsshrek.bpt.me.
