County Line is the last major beach in Malibu as you travel north on Pacific Coast Highway on the way to Oxnard or Ventura. It has a rather small parking lot that is directly across from Neptune's Net. Parking is allowed on both sides of PCH, but crossing the highway can be dangerous. The beach is best accessible at the south end because as you move up the beach there is a sharp drop-off from the road that is shored up by rather large boulders.

Because County Line, like Leo Carrillo State Park Beach, is a State Beach, it is dog-friendly and allows alcoholic beverages on the beach, provided they are not in glass. Drinking alcohol however is prohibited in the parking lot and dogs must be on least at all times.

Here's where you will find bikers on the right by the restaurant and surfers on the left checking out the surf. The size of the beach depends on surf conditions and tide height. Best bet is always on the south end. Don't forget your suntan lotion!
